Project overview

Coastal Roots Farm is a nonprofit community farm and education center that practices sustainable farming and share their harvest with communities that lack access to healthy food. 

We were tasked with the design of marketing materials for the summer harvest festival. With time old sustainable farming practices as the backbone of the community we wanted to respect that age with a classically illustrated handbill inspired from the 16th century designer Albrecht Durrer. With a woodblock aesthetic, the illustration was designed to be rustic, wholesome and inviting.
